IYT Tarining Holidays

The Spanish Sailing International Yacht Training (IYT) course on offer are completely modular. They lead to internationally recognised qualifications and are geared to take account of existing experience and/or stopped or picked up at any point with achievements made signed off. This allows us to customise your holiday around your requirements and existing knowledge. What you would like to achieve with your time with Spanish Sailing is therefore largely up to you. We can cater for people who would rather have the emphasis on a holiday or we can make the training a priority and ensure that the desired level is met during the holiday.

Our fast track courses can take an absolute beginner to International Crew level in a week and to International Flotilla Skipper level in 2 weeks. With these courses you will spend part of you time with Spanish Sailing on board a boat and the rest of the time in our beautiful training centre set in its own grounds surrounded by rolling hills and mountain views.

We have packages that get complete beginners to International Crew level from Ł275/person (1 week) or to International Flotilla Skipper from Ł550/person (2 weeks). These packages are full board and take place at sea and in the classroom with nights spent on board and on land.
