Weather in Tarragona
Tarragona benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate. It has little rain and does not suffer from the extreme summer heat found in the south. The winds are mainly calm but stronger breezes can be found sailing on the Costa Brava coast in the north of the region.
Perfect sea breezes develop most days as the sun’s heat warms the land providing good sailing conditions. This was one of the main reasons, the Mediterranean coast was chosen to host the last America’s Cup and it will be a strong contender for the next round.
