Spanish Sailing Activities
This is one of the many destinations available to us on the Costa Dorada and Costa Brava coastline. We offer a number of number of on the water activities together with land based sailing courses.
Day Sailing Trips out of Tarragona on a well appointed 37’ sailing yacht complete with experienced skipper. Trips can be day/afternoon or afternoon/early evening. The latter comes with the option of taking dinner back in port at the end of the sail. Prices from 250€ (2 people) and for this you will have the boat to yourself so no sharing with people you don’t know. Price includes a bocadillo (baguette) and a drink and more elaborate lunches are available at a very reasonable price if you prefer.
Sailing Holidays Trips from 3 to 14 days living on board. Holidays are reasonably priced for up to 4 people sharing 2 double cabins. Various food packages are available and are intended to make this much more than the usual basic small boat sailing holiday. Prices are from 60€/person/day making this the best value for money on the Mediterranean.
Sailing Courses Training provided by Spanish Sailing follows the International Yacht Training (IYT) program & is particularly well suited to the holiday environment. Courses can be structured to cater for availability & existing experience. They cost from 60€/person/day
Celebrations We specialise in laying on surprise trips to help celebrate special occasions. In the past we have been involved with birthdays, anniversaries and even hen parties. As an example we have provided buffets, Cava & cakes and would be happy to discuss your specific requirements.
RYA Shore Based Courses Partake in any of the RYA Theory courses in our beautiful school located in the Spanish hills. Day courses or full board.
Cambrils Sailing
The 1st stop when heading south from Tarragona along the Costa Dorada coast and having rounded the Cap de Salou is Cambrils.
Now a modern marina but originally a traditional trading and fishing port operating since the the 13th century. There is still a thriving fishing industry here and the daily auctions can still be visited at the end of the day.
Wander the narrow streets and the church of Santa Maria or visit the famous harbour
side restaurants famous for their excellent fish and sea-
