Spanish Sailing is able to offer a selection of skippered yacht charters & sail training packages on the beautiful Spanish Costa Dorada coast between the River Ebro Delta, Barcelona onto Costa Brava. Sailing from Tarragona, we are probably the closest destination guaranteeing a Mediterranean climate & perfect sailing conditions to many people based in Northern Europe. We are only 15 minutes from Reus which is Ryanair’s ‘Barcelona’ airport. The city of Tarragona is also in easy reach by car or train with a main line station close to the base marina. With all our sailing packages, numbers are kept low & the program designed around your needs and aspirations. What we offer is a bespoke comfortable holiday and/or sail training program at a price significantly lower than anyone else on the Med. Training programs are flexible. You can partake in a dedicated course with internationally recognised qualifications or just add accreditations to knowledge gained on your holiday.

Costa Dorada Day Sailing Trips Charter a boat and skipper for a day. Maybe find
out if sailing is for you and your family, take a first lesson or just enjoy relaxing
on the Mediterranean. If you already have sailing experience then you are welcome
to take the ‘wheel’ and even complete beginners can have a go if they want to. The
day can be treated as the introductory module to a recognised sailing qualification.
There is no sharing with people you don’t know so the day is completely up to you.

Costa Dorada Sailing Holidays Sample Mediterranean boating life by exclusively chartering
a 37’ yacht with skipper. You do not share with anyone so distances, destinations
and the extent of your involvement in the sailing of the boat are entirely up to
you. There are 2 double cabins for guests so complete privacy is assured and various
catering packages are available.
Holiday durations are flexible with prices from 60€/person/day.

Costa Dorada Training Courses We a fully approved sailing school so you can use your
time on board to gain an internationally recognised qualification. Courses are modular
so you can proceed at a rate that suits your own idea of how intense the training
regime should be. Courses go from complete beginner to a level that would allow you
to charter your own boat in the future. Course lengths can be adjusted to suit your
existing skill levels and the target level you would like to reach.

Costa Dorada Celebration Trips Why not celebrate a birthday or anniversary onboard. We have also run many hen parties and even performed a marriage ceremony! We are able to provide a range of quality catering options at very good value and are happy to discuss your specific requirements.
Costa Dorada Sailing
Sailing the beautiful Spanish Costa Dorada coastline provides a rich variety of scenery and destinations from the Ebro Delta in the south nearly to Barcelona in the north with a myriad of fishing villages, picturesque bays and ports in between.
Navigating the Costa Dorada can be included in a Spanish Sailing holiday or as part of an IYT sailing school training course.
The Costa Dorada sailing conditions are more benign than say the Costa Brava and many other Mediterranean areas where the proximity of mountain ranges can lead to unpredictable and challenging winds. Predictable sea breezes though mean that excellent sailing is possible in relatively flat seas.
We operate a fully MCA approved and certified yacht and the captain/host is a commercially endorsed professional skipper. We have also been granted full approval as a training school by an international body and are able to provide tuition as part of a stay on board if required. This could be anything from instruction to sailing modules through to a qualification that would allow you to skipper your own charter yacht.
The boat has 2 comfortable double sleeping cabins available for guest ensuring complete privacy. Numbers are intentionally kept low to ensure the comfort of life on board and we do not operate a policy of getting people to share with people they have never met before. With no sharing, the plans for the stay on board can therefore be made around your own specific requirements and we are happy to add a variety of catering and celebration options.
