Eating on Board

Breakfast is included in the holiday price and we have various options available with helping with meals during your stay on board. We know from experience that keeping a boat supplied with food can become a chore when storage space is limited and shops are often situated some way from the port. The last thing you want to be thinking about after a satisfying day’s sail is to hike into town to find supplies. The time is much better spent enjoying a sundowner or 2.

We also like to take eating a step beyond the usual fare served up on boats. Eating on board is intended as being part of the holiday experience and not just a means of sustenance. To that end, if you choose to take food on board, you will experience fresh home cooked food of generous portions that is served with local wines if preferred. There is also something special after a satisfying physical days sailing to dine in the boat’s cockpit and watch the sun go down.

Self catering: We are happy for you to provide your own lunches. Just remember that it should be something that might have to be prepared and eaten at sea. Nights will always be spent in port with restaurants near by.    

Special requirements: We are happy to discuss any special dietary requirements you might have and to cater accordingly.

Drinks on board: Drinks are included in the price of meals taken on board but other drinks are available at cost. It is so much easier to stock a boat at home port when transport is available and we just want to make your holiday as easy as possible.
