WHAT WE DO Spanish Sailing runs day sailing charters & sailing lessons out of Tarragona. Come & have a day out on the sea and/or let us help you celebrate a birthday or anniversary. We are pleased to consider your special requirements so just let us know what you are after. In the past we have provided Champagne breakfasts, birthday cakes etc.
CHOOSE YOUR DAY We like to be flexible & let you choose the time when you would like to sail. A typical day can be a morning/afternoon sail or maybe you would prefer an afternoon/evening session. Try our sunset special & end the day with dinner on board in port watching the lights come up over the city. Sail all day or sail & anchor for a swim & snorkel.
EATING ON BOARD The price includes a light lunch snack and drinks but we are happy to include more ambitious menus at a very competitive price if you prefer. Why not try our Cava buffets or dinner on board in port after a sunset sail option.
LEARN TO SAIL The day can be used as an ‘introduction to sailing’ lesson. Spanish Sailing is an authorised International Yacht Training (IYT) school able to run & examine a number of recognised courses. A day out can include an introduction to sailing lesson & an evaluation of your skills and requirements
TRY A SAIL Why not take a day to see if sailing is something you and your family would like to take up. You will struggle to find a better environment and sea conditions.
OUR SAILING BASE Tarragona has the great advantage of rural coastline immediately you leave the marina with a choice of beautiful coves in which to anchor. Barcelona for comparison is a large port and takes several hours just to get to open sea from most bases. There are 3 (inexpensive) trains an hour & anyone arriving by train will be met at the station.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED Absolutely no experience or qualifications are necessary. You can just sit back and enjoy the trip or get actively involved in sailing the boat.

Prices from 60€/person (7 people sharing) but it’s possible for 2 people to secure the whole boat and the skipper for themselves for only 250€ A light lunch is included with a choice of morning/afternoon or afternoon/evening sails with option of evening meal on board in port. Celebrations are also a speciality, just let us know your requirements.
Celebrations & Treats: Why not turn your time on the water into a celebration, we have catered for many birthdays & anniversaries. We can add a variety of food and drink options tailored to your own specific requirements and dietary needs. These can include full tapas spreads, dinner on board or even birthday cake & Cava. Option also exists for day sailors to spend the night on board after dinner and not have to worry about finding your way home. Let us know if you would like us to lay on some cheesy banners etc. to really embarrass the lucky person, we will be happy to oblige!
